These placemats are made with a double layer of 100% cotton homespun fabric that has been constructed in the rag style, which leaves the seams exposed and hand clipped with an X sewn through the center of each square.

Wash separately in cold water and dry on low heat.
Washed once to begin ragging process. It will continue to shed with subsequent washings until the process is complete. Steam iron from backside.
